Getting Started

Start using IP Note Coin

IPNC is a trust-based DeFi ecosystem on Polygon. Follow the flow below to set up, transact, and build an on-chain credit score you truly own — or earn by reviewing for the community.

Six steps take you from a fresh wallet to your first on-chain note and a growing credit score. It takes minutes to set up.

1
Learn first

Inform yourself

IPNC is different from a bank or a typical crypto app. Notes are enforced by smart contracts, transactions are irreversible, and you alone hold your keys. Understand the basics before you commit funds.

  • Read the whitepaper and this site's How-it-works section
  • Understand that repayment behaviour builds a public, portable score
  • Never share your seed phrase — no one from IPNC will ever ask for it
2
Set up · minutes

Get a Polygon wallet

You need a self-custody wallet that supports the Polygon network. IPNC works with the most common options — pick one and add the Polygon network to it.

  • Install MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or use WalletConnect / Torus
  • Write your recovery phrase on paper and store it offline
  • Add a small amount of POL (MATIC) to cover network gas fees
3
Acquire

Get IPNC

IPNC is a fixed-supply community token on Polygon. Add it to your wallet using the contract address, then acquire it peer-to-peer or via a supported decentralised exchange once liquidity is live.

  • Import the IPNC token into your wallet by its contract address
  • Acquire peer-to-peer, or swap on a Polygon DEX (e.g. QuickSwap)
  • Only commit what you can afford to lose — prices are volatile
4
Connect

Launch the app & connect

Open the IPNC dApp and connect your wallet. Your dashboard shows your balance, your credit file, and everything you can do — no account or password required.

5
Transact

Create your first IP Note

An IP Note is an on-chain promissory agreement between two parties — amount, term, and instalments, all enforced by the contract. Borrow, lend, or transfer using one of three speed tiers.

  • Agree terms with a counterparty and create the note
  • The community reviewer layer approves it by size and risk
  • Choose Instant, Standard, or Economy transfer speed
6
Grow

Build your credit score

Every note you settle on time raises your wallet-native credit score. A stronger score unlocks larger notes, lower friction, and — eventually — the ability to become a reviewer yourself.

  • Repay on schedule to lift your score
  • Watch your live credit file update on your dashboard
  • Your score is portable and owned by you, not a bureau

High-trust members underwrite the network and earn fees for it. Here's the path from member to active community reviewer.

1
Learn first

Understand the reviewer role

Reviewers are the decentralised underwriting layer. They assess and approve notes routed to them by transaction band, and earn fees from a dedicated reviewer pool. It's a responsibility, not a formality.

  • Reviews are matched to your standing by note size and risk
  • Fair, accurate reviewing protects the network and your score
  • Fees are paid from the on-chain ReviewerPool contract
2
Prerequisite

Build a strong credit score

Reviewer eligibility is earned. Use IPNC actively and settle your own notes on time to raise your score into the qualifying range.

  • Complete the "Build your credit" track first
  • Maintain a clean, on-time repayment history
  • Higher scores unlock higher-value review bands
3
Qualify

Check eligibility & opt in

Open the Reviewer dashboard in the app. It shows whether you meet the score and activity thresholds and lets you opt into the reviewer programme.

4
Work

Review transactions

Notes within your band are routed to you. Assess the terms and counterparty, then approve or decline. Consistent, sound decisions keep you eligible and grow your standing.

  • Review notes matched to your band by size and risk
  • Approve sound notes; decline ones that don't meet terms
  • Your track record feeds back into your own score
5
Earn

Collect reviewer fees

Approved and settled notes pay fees into the reviewer pool, distributed to the reviewers who did the work. Rewards scale with activity and standing.

6
Govern

Shape the community

Active, trusted members take part in the Community DAO — proposing and voting on changes to the protocol and how the reserve is used. This is how ownership moves to the community over time.

Stay safe. IPNC will never DM you first, never ask for your seed phrase, and never guarantee returns. Always check you're on ipnotecoin.app before connecting your wallet, and read the Legal Disclaimer.
