Legal
This disclaimer governs your use of the IP Note Coin website, the IPNC protocol, and the IPNC token. Please read it carefully. By accessing or using any part of the Website or protocol, you agree to the terms below.
The website ipnotecoin.app and its associated pages (the "Website") provide information and material of a general nature only. You are not authorised to, and should not, rely on the Website for legal, tax, accounting, business, or investment advice of any kind.
You act at your own risk in reliance on the contents of the Website. Should you make a decision to act or not to act, you should first consult a licensed professional in the relevant jurisdiction. In no way are the owners of, contributors to, or maintainers of the Website responsible for actions, decisions, or other behaviour taken or not taken by you in reliance upon the Website.
IP Note Coin ("IPNC") is a decentralised, open-source protocol and a community token deployed on the Polygon network. It provides infrastructure for on-chain promissory notes, peer-to-peer agreements, and behavioural credit scoring.
The Website may contain translations of its English content, provided only as a convenience. In the event of any conflict between the English version and a translated version, the English version prevails. If you notice an inconsistency, please report it via our GitHub repository.
The Website and its contributors will not be responsible for any losses, damages, or claims arising from events falling within the following categories:
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once confirmed, they cannot be undone, reversed, or refunded by anyone.
Holding or using IPNC, or any digital asset, can lead to a partial or total loss of money over short or long periods. You should expect prices to have large and rapid fluctuations. Nothing on the Website guarantees that you will not lose money. Never commit funds you cannot afford to lose entirely. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
The legal treatment of digital assets varies by jurisdiction and continues to change. It is your responsibility to ensure that accessing the Website and using IPNC is lawful where you live. The Website is not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where such use would be contrary to law or regulation. If use is restricted or prohibited where you are, you must not use it.
You are solely responsible for determining what, if any, taxes apply to your IPNC transactions and for reporting and remitting them correctly. The owners of, and contributors to, the Website are not responsible for determining the taxes that apply to your transactions.
The Website does not store, send, receive, or hold IPNC or any other digital asset on your behalf. Tokens exist only by virtue of the ownership record maintained on the Polygon blockchain. Any transfer of title occurs within the decentralised network, directly from your self-custodied wallet — not on or through the Website. You alone control your keys and your funds.
The Website and protocol may reference or interoperate with third-party wallets, exchanges, bridges, decentralised exchanges (such as QuickSwap), block explorers, and other services. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for any third party, and interacting with them is entirely at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
The Website, the protocol, and all related content, data, materials, smart contracts, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, or freedom from error. No audit, review, or verification eliminates all risk.
Unless otherwise required by law, in no event shall the owners of, or contributors to, the Website or protocol be liable for any damages of any kind — including, without limitation, loss of use, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of tokens, or loss of business — arising out of, or in any way connected with, the use of or inability to use the Website, the protocol, or any related smart contract, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of, and contributors to, the Website and protocol from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Website or protocol, your violation of this disclaimer, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to resolve any dispute arising from or in connection with the Website, the protocol, or this disclaimer through binding arbitration, on an individual basis, rather than in court — except for disputes concerning copyrights, logos, trademarks, trade names, trade secrets, or patents. This disclaimer is governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
This disclaimer may be updated from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time you access it is the version that applies. This disclaimer was last amended on 14 July 2026.
